I'm considering replacing the "21'' Macan Design Wheels" on my inbound 25 4S with OEM 20" wheels instead. It looks like the tire sizes for these wheels are:

Front axle: 7.5 J x 20'' ET 32 with tires 235/55 R20 105V XL M+S
Rear axle: 10.0 J x 20'' ET 49 with tires 285/45 R20 112V XL M+S tires

I'd like to (at least initially) run Front 235/50 R20 Rear 255/45 R20, only because I have a practically brand new set in these sizes. Any ideas if this will actually work?

You're gonna be 0.275cm higher at the front than at the back (117.5mm front/114.75mm rear).
Also, the 3cm width per wheel you'll gonna loose at the back because of the narrower tires (6 cm in total for the rear axle) is quite much IMHO compared to the narrower acceptable by Porsche for that car for its rear axle.Besides, it's almost certain there will be warranty issues because of a such significant wheels dimensions alteration especially for the rear narrower tires.

That’s what I was afraid of. I still may try the 20” wheels with the recommended tire sizes, but I guess the tires I have will be going on FB Marketplace. 😑

You could at least get a pair of rears only, of 290/40 20" which will give you a profile of 116mm,very close to 117.5mm of the front. This will be pretty much inside the tolerance of what the car could accept at least width wise. However the wheel diameter will still be 11~12mm smaller than the original and don't know how well the smaller wheels will be coinsided with the car's systems.
