Netflix, Amazon Prime and beyond on Passenger Screen

I am starting to get my head round the possibilities of the passenger display of my brand new Macan 2026. I have successfully downloaded and installed Disney+ and some games. All nice and shiny. Like it.
Also Vivaldi works really good and as far as the common streaming services are concerned, it also works nice. Now as the widevine plugin for DRM content is not supported in Vivaldi automotive, Netflix and Prime won’t stream.
Is there any alternative way to get that going? I assume that for the very same reason there is no App available.
I found OTTOCAST as an alternative device but I am unsure about that and even more so whether it can be connected to the passenger screen at all.
Does anyone have any idea?

Congrats on all you have working. My passenger display mostly shows the active CarPlay track. I haven’t taken as many roadtrips as originally planned yet.

If you have an iPhone, expect some video playback enhancements in iOS 27. Fingers crossed this gets you the streaming playback you’re looking for. This may require some support from Porsche though.

Good for you that you're actually using it. If I had configuration to do over, I would have left passengers display off,the list considering expense and the amount of charge that it demands. I hardly ever use it.

Does it take much charge? Not sure. But yes, I am quite frequently a passenger myself and also my boys fight over who is allowed to sit there. They play Asphalt and also watch movies in Vivaldi. However, Prime and Netflix won’t work due to lack of DRM support on the automotive platform. Hence why I am looking for some ideas on alternatives.
Also had it on my Taycan already but there it was merely an expensive gadget. With the 2026 Macan I am a fan of it

Sounds inspiring, maybe I'll give it another try, though I'm not familiar with Vivaldi lest the composer!
