New software version coming week 36 of 2025

I was supposed to get my hands on my 4S saturday, but it was postponed because of a software upadate. It's an official Porsche recall, without the new update, there is no warranty
Software update seems to be complicated for Porsche . I don't understand why it's so long and complicated even for my dealer.
I will wait two weeks more. I expect this update will fix most of the bugs listed in this forum.

It’s not the big update I suppose, since it’s postponed for some time as I understand it. Is this another update you are referring too?

I don't know
They just said to me it was an official recall . The car is at my dealer , but they are not allowed to give it to me without having done the update.

Then it is probably just for a specific reason and not the official update. Nevertheless it was the same thing when I got my MY24 in October. It was docked for about 10 days after the official launch date due to a software update recall that didn’t allow me to have a handover. I hope it goes fast for you!!

It appears to be the same case
I give them 15 days to do the job, until I give back my volvo at my dealer the same day.

I would give back the Volvo and tell them to get you a loaner in that case. If it is postponed then they should provide it for you instead. It’s not your problem.

Nothing yet more than stated before, sadly.

They "said" that it might be week 44, but that is subject to change according to my dealer. Also heard they need to test out the software on MY26 cars anyway, and they won't be delivered until the middle of november to begin with.

I find it strange that almost one year later, it's still complicated to made an update.

Porsche never deliver deliver cars with remaining faults in the system. The update is probably not the only concern...
in september 2024, it took them 5 weeks to update and clean all the electronic faults ; there were no need to change electronic modules... I still don't understand why and how all of that could happen.
