Thanks - I didn’t think that they did anything wrong, they had plenty of far faster cars to choose to take for a spin. I was very pleased that after logging in everything was as it should be with no need to reset anything.

My wife’s Macan 4 is going in tomorrow to replace the delaminating light bar under warranty & the dealer is giving us a loaner car so they can do this large software update.

The car has been trouble free for 9k miles. No faults or errors. Should I tell them to ignore the software update? I don’t want the car coming back 1-2 weeks later & having issues.

Hi. Delighted you have had 9k trouble free miles.

With all due respect, if Porsche has a software update open for the model you’re bringing to the dealer for any reason, my humble suggestion is you ask the dealer to check any and apply all software open actions for your model while it’s in the shop.

You won’t regret having your wife’s car up to date.

Wishing you hapoy motoring.

My 4S had the software update. I had no problems before and none after the update. Just go ahead with it!

I noticed the HomeLink didn’t work when we got the car back yesterday. Had to go into the myQ app to open it.
