Porsche app / Electrify America: Porsche acknowledged there IS A BUG in the latest release

Quick update....

After recently updating the Porsche app on my Samsung Android phone, charging at EA has no longer worked.

After speaking with Porsche this morning, they acknowledged the issue, and have escalated it.

Will update once I know more.

Just opened up my Porsche app... There is an update. I'm currently headed out of town, but wanted to report the information.

If you're able to charge at EA... Don't change a thing!

interesting however, i'm not sure why the app would have anything to do with charging.
the certificate is loaded on the car itself...and should be validated from the car... Unless that car is regularly checking it's certificate against the app.... ?

Not yet with this update. Though, I find out if there's issue when recharge with EA.

Quick update....

After recently updating the Porsche app on my Samsung Android phone, charging at EA has no longer worked.

After speaking with Porsche this morning, they acknowledged the issue, and have escalated it.

Will update once I know more.

I had the same issue over the weekend. Spent 3 hours at an EA charger and spoke to 3 different EA reps. The chargers give an Error_connection_closed and the 1st two reps after rebooting 2 different charges, removing and reinstalling the Porsche app 3x told me o had to wait until Monday to call Porsche. I waited for another charger and called EA again.

After explaining to the 3rd rep that the Porsche app seems to have a bug since it's being repeated on several forums, she asked for my VIN. Then put me on hold for a while, came back on and said she can see my VIN is registered with the Porsche app so she manually overrode something and I was able to charge. I called Porsche yesterday morning. They confirmed an update was being pushed. Once I got the update, I went back to an EA charger to test it and it worked better than it has in months. I'm using a Samsung 24 Ultra.
