I picked up my brand new Macan 4S last month and had opted to have the Porsche Dashcam fitted.
When I attempted to use the App, the settings for Parking feature were not available.
I queried this with my Porsche dealer and was told that this feature was unavailable due to ‘battery issues’ in the Macan EV. In essence, the camera only works in driving mode with the ignition on.
I’m taking this matter up with Porsche as one of the reasons I paid extra for the dashcam to be fitted was for the ‘park’ function. If this feature is unavailable in the Macan EV due to a technical problem, in my mind it should’ve been pointed out to me before I decided to make the purchase.
Has anyone else had this issue?
