I saw zero difference after the update. 450km with current temperatures, and I guess summer will be around 520 …
In summer, I have around 18.1kWh/100km. Now it is climbing to 21.1, and I guess it will climb further to 25-27 in December - February.

I think that if you are using Air Conditioning or Heater, these will definitely reduce the range on the Macan EV. I live in Scottsdale, AZ, and when I select Max AC, the range drops by 50 miles almost instantly.

I used to get only 311 miles for 100% battery charge. Now 380 miles for full charge. It's normal?
Same for me after the update. As others have stated, I expect this to drop down to normal range after driving for a few weeks.

I have NOT yet had the software update, and for the longest time my 100% range has been in the 340-380 miles (based on calculating from current % and assuming a linear range per percentage point)

Monday, I charged to 75% with 297 displayed. 3 hours later, with no power added, the software decides I now have a range of 313 @ 75% (417 miles @ 100%).

Tuesday morning, no extra charging, I have 315 @ 76%, which dropped to 284 @ 76% when I pulled out of the garage. After driving a mile to run a quick errand and no charging, I now have 317 @ 76%. (still 417 miles total)

My total actual usage when driving hovers around 3 miles/kwh, but the car's software is convinced I'm about to drive downhill with a tailwind most of the time to get over 4 miles/kwh!

I look forward to having this reset by the update so it can attempt to calibrate to reality.

Do note that the minor SOC % adjustments are to be expected with this type of battery pack when idle (The poor conversion to possible range in the Guess O Meter really sucks though). This is something the Battery Management Software does when there's no load present so it can read the battery pack voltage, and the numbers often change after a charging session. BMS software is hard!

I think @Paris92 comment is likely true. Here's what happened. Drove to Los Angeles airport yesterday from San Diego, around 125 miles based on google maps. Started with 100% (380 miles) and used 183 miles (43kw). Therefore, the 380 miles not an actual range.
Dear All.

Happy Holidays as am joining the thread quite late in December from original exchanges.

With 15 month ownership 15/Oct/24 to now I’ve had winter and summer climate temps and have the following observations.

- we all know driving style (aggressive / sporty versus daily commute to work with light foot touch) makes a meaningful difference to our consumption whether in our ICE or EV cars alike.
- everyone has noted range indicated is a “guesstimate” based on the driving style observed by the electronic systems on board.
- in summer months with my same mix of week day commutes 50 miles into NYC and back home plus 120miles each way commute to our weekend home, my 100% charge was approx 380-390 410 miles. Crazy! I was super surprised 🤩
- Winter months with freezing temps I have same weekly commutes and weekend travel. Full charge at 100% ranges between 313 tops to more mile 290-300 miles.

As reinforcing my experience matches what other owners have commented on: external temps, short daylight requiring more driving lights, heating the car more (or less with seat and steering wheel heat options) all combine to reduce range whether I like it or not.

What disappointments me though is when I charge the car in our enclosed apartment building garage with warm temps is reads say 300mis. As soon as I put the car in gear and not even left the garage it typically drops ~20 miles range. Then with regenerative braking in my city commuting I seem to regain mileage I’ve lost so I actually get the all-in range initially note by end of daily when I add up initial miles less driven miles = end of day residual charge left.

Wishing everyone happy Holidays and a wonderful 2026!
🎉🥂🎊
