Rear passenger door doesn’t close any more

My rear passenger door doesn’t close anymore. Has anyone experienced this fault already?
My car will probably need to be transported to the dealer, because I get audible warnings when driving. It is covered in road salt so
I’m not looking forward to my car being handled by transport people. I also think the mechanism is broken as it doesn’t latch when pushed back manually which the other doors do, so this means the door card will be ‘ripped off’

Anyways really considering to drive the car to the dealer and keep the door closed by tying a rope between the rear left and rear right door handle.

I recommend calling your dealer prior to fixing the problem with a rope and driving to him directly. It could make a difference in your claim for warranty. Not sure if Porsche treats ist differently but some manufacturers do. E.g. you only get a free loaner if your car needs to be towed. Sounds strange I know. It's just a phone call...

Yes good call, drove it myself and indeed had to insist a bit on a loaner because I didn't follow the normal procedure. Anyways the lock was indeed broken and needed to be ordered. Should be able to pick up my car later this day.
