SAT Antenna error but still works!

So after the trial XM ended I received an offer for $5/mo for 12 months. I scanned the QR code and got XM back in the Macan BUT I have the SAT antenna error again.

I had this issue with my car when I took delivery and it seemed to go away on its own. Now that I subscribed to XM, i can hear the music but I cant select the stations, I only see the error message "SAT Antenna error"

Does anyone know where the antenna is?! I also just got ceramic tint on the front windows, I hope this isn't causing the antenna error... Weird thing is the music doesn't cut out or anything...

I found two of these wires sitting loose, one routed to the left and one to the right. Any idea if these are ground wires supposed to be attached to the chassis?

Well after a few weeks these issues resolved on their own. SAT/Antenna doesnt show error and XM Radio works. The auto date/time has been switched on the last time I checked.

The SAT antenna stopped working about a month ago. Took the car in for service, hopefully the updates resolve this once and for all.

The software update didn't resolve my SAT antenna error. After the updates, the error message displays "SAT hardware error" now

Dealer said they didn't see that message during the update, but I showed them the error when I picked up the car. I didn't want to leave the car there again...

Anyone else having this issue? Where the heck is the SAT Antenna!?

I've seen a diagram of the antenna locations, and I *think* it was in the online manual, but I can't find it now.

I did see something about things on the roof rack might interfere with the Sat Radio, so somewhere near the top of the tailgate seems like a good place to look.

I don't have a roof rack but maybe it is part of a trim piece. Ill keep looking, Thanks!
