In the last few days, my 2-month-old Macan Turbo has developed an annoying issue. The "seat belt unfastened" warning sound and symbol in the instrument cluster is randomly coming on during a drive. There's no pattern to it. It started three days ago on a 500km journey from the UK to the Netherlands. It came on about one hour into the journey and then randomly came on for the rest of it. Sometimes it would turn on and off for five minutes, and then suddenly be silent for one hour. Then, out of the blue it would start again. Sometimes it would come on for a second and then go off, and then come back on five seconds later, and repeat this cycle for five minutes, and then nothing for another hour.
I took the car out today hoping it would have resolved itself, but no. It still does it, still with no actual pattern to it.
Really annoying, and this is the worst of a few other bugs that I've experienced in the two months of ownership.
I'm aware of a similar issue with the seat belt, but I don't think this is the same, as I am still able to use the cruise control in this case.
Has anybody else experienced this?
