Siri - IOS 26

My iPhone Air with IOS 26 in CarPlay has the same issue as when Apple released a previous IOS. In CarPlay Siri doesn’t read back a message before sending so you don't know if it’s correct. Last time I downloaded a beta update and that resolved it. He’s anyone else here had the same prob in CarPlay in IOS 26 ?

There's a setting under Apple Intelligence and Siri > Messaging With Siri > Automatically Send Messages

This is Off for me on my updated iPhone 15, it sounds like yours might be On

Many thanks. I just checked and it was off. I’ve turned it on / off to see if that works. If it doesn’t then that function appears to be a bug in the Air. Thanks again.

I have 360 cam but cannot get only the passenger side front AND back camera at the same time. I get the FRONT together or the BACK together

There might also be a CarPlay specific setting that can be changed when you're in the car. I recall seeing something in a recent YouTube video review of the updated CarPlay
