Spotted Macan EV in the wild!

Walking to the shop in Galtür and stumbled on a Macan EV charging.

Looks really nice. Almost no camouflage except a tiny bit on the front and rear lights.

Plates from Stuttgart off course

Really large HUD
Sun roof that can be openened
Charging ports on both sides
Sport chrono

Manufacturers of late are intent upon uglying up the lower half of their SUVs with jumbled lighting.

So instead of ICE with 0.6ish drag coefficient it is EV with a range of golf cart? This has to be a one-off. Someone crazy enough did a conversion.

Dunno. All the G-wagons I see around here are soccer moms/dads driving home->school->home.
The most offroading they brave is the gravel in the school parking lot and the incline coming down from Clyde Hill. I think they can handle 80 miles of range just fine.

I note that it has Michelin tires. That is nice to see! Love me some Michelins. Hopefully this means that Michelin will be developing more Porsche spec EV tires.

The new Pilot Sport EV tyre has had a Macan (NE0) type rating for nearly a year now.

mailed the pictures to my dealer. Not much extra info. 100 kWh battery but we new that already. First orders in Belgium from 24/1/24. Starting price 85.000 euro.
