Taking the Macan EV off-road

I was wondering if anyone is planning to take their Macan off-road? Care to share your experience?
(Yet take delivery of mine but I am planning to do some mild trails. Is it an awful idea?)

Not at all. We have seen some videos of Taycans so some mild trails and do just fine. Of course the Macan EV will be better in comparison. Of course progressively learning what the Macan EV will do over sequentially more rugged terrain is your plan A.

Yes! I plan to do some trails as soon as I can. I'll use 20" wheels with some A/T tires & remove the black fender trim and front lip.

Any recommendations for wheels? Also how safe it is to take off the plastic fenders? I didn't go for the Offroad pack cos I didn't like the design but also if I brake the plastic, it should be much cheaper to replace than the aluminium cladding?! Even tho that aluminium might protect the more expensive bits of the car

I was just going to take off the plastic trim so bigger tires wont hit it. depends on tire size..

Off road kit and off road wheel spec in configurator. We speced ours that way. Where we live is pretty much off road plenty of times in spring, fall and winter.

My beauty will only go offroad if there is no other option and in that situation at snail speed
This said I had to go full speed offroad in my ICE Macan when my son broke an arm doing downhill biking in the middle of the mountains, so it is good to know the offroad mode is there if required, but I do not plan to use it!

I know the feeling... My Model 3 was validated for off-road because my partner did a front flip (by mistake) in Gerês … That's why I went for the Macan in white so I can quickly transform it to an ambulance when needed
