I also love ALK and keep LKA off. Freeway driving is boring and I allow ALK to handle the boring part of the drive. Off freeway the most help I want is ACC set at +10mph of the speed limit. Love how the Macan feels in Sport and Sport+. I just hate the ham-handed way to switch between ALK and ACC. Perhaps Porsche will give us the Taycan stalk mode to handle all the Drive Assist modes In the future. I filed a report with Porsche US trying to move this up the ladder.

I like the ALK on the freeway, but the LKA warnings are way too sensitive.
Also, they seem to trigger for ghosts with some frequency -- more so than on my '22 Audi e-tron GT. (Which as far as I can tell has a control system similar to the Taycan)

Also, there are *two* buttons on the control stalk -- the one on the left, which lets you toggle modes, and then a small hidden one on the bottom of the stalk, for turning on/off LKA.
I haven't yet figured out how the LKA on/off button interacts with ALK, if at all...

You are correct that there are two buttons on the stalk and the lower one does toggle LKA. I was trying to toggle ALK with the stalk as is done in the Taycan software but the Macan is set up differently. Having to use both hands to toggle ALK is not something a Porsche driver would ever come up with. IT people on the other hand…..?
