Vehicle Excise duty - Time to renew your road tax, already!

I've just renewed my annual road tax, even though I've only had my 4S for 4 months. If you do it this month you will get another 12 months at £0.00. Of course next year (March 2026) you will have to pay up, even for an EV.
So it is worth doing. To do it online, you just need your registration number and registration document reference number (V15C). It takes just 5 minutes!

Another advantage would be if Rachel From Accounts decides to change the “luxury car tax“ exception for EV‘s which are registered before April. She says she is not going to increase taxes in her Statement next week but changing an exception is not an increase - could save £ 460.
