I am not going to post up some pics, but have Rolex, AP, GO, A.LS in the collection.
I was collecting and selling with good connects with Grey Market Dealers, until about 6-7 years ago and have only sold since and down to 4.
My question is: When will this crazy inflation of global prices come back to being able to at least get MSRP on a desirable watch (like a: hulk, Daytona, etc in SS), I mean WTH is going on when a SS watch goes for more than a solid gold watch? It is loony toons out there right now and I am not buying again (I haven't built up 20 years of MSRP buying at my local Rolex dealer to get on a 'list') until this nonsense stops.
Unfortunately, I think someone is going to get hurt on these prices at one point....or we all get hurt with a repeat of 1929, 1987, etc....and/or this is preceded by runaway inflation in the U.S. followed by the 1929 example. I hope not, but the laws of physics don't like. What goes up, must come down.
Is anyone actually buying at these prices, or are all the pics from previous time period?

Anyone else like Franck Muller? My day to taday is a swatch, with a vintage Rolex for lunches and a Muller for fun. The face reminds me of White Rabbit from Surrealistic Pillow. I got the Swatch at the duty free Swatch shop coming home from Zurich once and have replaced the band many times

It is Aviator 8 Day & Date Etihad Airways Limited Edition Watch

So technically they made 500 pieces stamped with Etihad Airways logo on the back case and it was exclusive for Abu Dhabi boutique, but there was a high demand on the watch so they made extra 500 pics for the Middle East without the airline logo on the back case.

Went to the Dark side and picked up a Chinese KO Hulk off of Amazon for $100. ?

Uses an off the shelf Seiko automatic movement. Bought it for shits & giggles & pure curiosity, also plan to hop in the pool sometime and see if it'll still work after taking a dip. ?

And even has a clear case back unlike the actual Rolex Sub lol.

Exciting stuff: this is going to be my last extravagant watch purchase of the year. Picked it up from the AD last night.

Seiko Presage SPB215 limited edition. Part of their Studio Ghibli anime collaboration for the film Laputa Castle in the Sky.

Planning to take some unworn product photos before I remove the leather straps (they have some specialized engraving related to the film) which I don't want to ruin by wearing against my skin. Already ordered some cheap 20mm leather straps I plan to try on and will wear the piece from time to time.
