Winter tyres

For the last few years on my Audi I’ve always just swapped the tyres, not the rims. Do Porsche do the same?

I bought winter tires at a local tire shop (the Pirelli Winter 2s made for the Macan). They mounted them on my existing rims and will keep the original summer tires at their location for free. In April I’ll do a swap in reverse and they’ll keep the winter tires until I need them. The tire swap costs €100 each time.

This is great shops do this. My sister is in Montana where things are icy 3-4 months. She has studded tires for her Cayenne in winters, and her local tire shop uses the same method you shared. Very cool.
