You should all hear from your dealership. Mine just sent through details of how to clear the cache from the "Driver Assistance Map Service" to speed up the OTA update (otherwise cache clear happens automatically every 24-48 hours). Its all to do with a software bug in the regional country coding of the predictive map data. Will let you know if / when my update happens and if the issues are resolved.

Nop, not a software update, just a data map update that solves this sort of problem.

My dealer in Kent called to say an update has been pushed yesterday and checking with me whether I am still having issues. I had issue yesterday morning as the assistance systems failed after driving for 2.5miles as usual. I told him I'll see how this goes and will get back to him.

Just picked my Macan turbo up today after leaving at the dealer a few weeks ago now and it seems to be behaving as it should. Software update rolled out this week. Local dealer has been really good about the whole saga.

Just picked my 4 on Sunday and have driven about 100 mi. All good. Today, started up and drove to the store and on leaving, got the Assistance error. The system reset itself and in a couple minutes it's ok, but the heads-up display was off. Had to go into the menu and re-assign that. Other settings were ok.

I test drove Macan 4 at the dealer for a day. That message was on at all times and never cleared.

Do we get a notification that the update needs installing? Did not see an potential updates when I checked the car yesterday.
