Cruise control issue: "Cruise Control not available drivers seatbelt undone"

I’m having an intermittent problem with the cruise control on my Macan 4S. I get a message saying ‘Cruise Control not available drivers seatbelt undone’
It isn’t and despite stopping and belting up again, the message persists

Anyone have the same problem? Any suggestions/remedies?

I saw this problem on 2 cars during test drives. To resolve it, the SA had me fully stop the car and power it off. Unclick seat belt. Open door. Shut door. Reclick seat belt. Then put car in reverse or drive.

The SA told me that the problem is putting the car in drive or reverse when the seat belt is not fully seated/clicked in place.

As an owner, I've followed the advice to be more diligent about attaching the seatbelt before backing out of the garage, and I haven't seen the error since.

Yes, had the same issue trying the adaptiv cruise for the 1st time. Dealer reset/updated software. Never happened again. And suddenly Plug&Charge was in order too.

Had this problem when i first picked up. Corrected itself overnight, did not have to do a reset. Have not had the issue since

Thanks, my car is going in to the dealers next week. Hopefully they can find the problem or reset something

How strange, mine first did it when I first picked it up, but it has done it again at random some further 3 times. Most frustrating, but it’s going in to the main agent next week so we’ll see what that does.

This has occurred twice to me, after having the car in the stereo shop or PPF shop for an extended period of time.

My experience is low charge of the 12V battery after sitting for some time may be the culprit. In both cases after driving for an extended amount of time, turning the car off and back on cleared it for me and no reoccurrence.

As a side note a similar error occurs on my 911 after sitting for sometime. Start up I get a chassis error, top not closed and a few others. Same result, drive it a bit, things clear up and don’t reoccur.

Another one here who had it happen on the way home from the dealer. Got home and then went out in it again and never to be see since. Strange how we are all gettingit initislly and then it disappears for the most part!!
