Collected my MY26 Turbo today 🥳
It was a quick turnaround, bearing in mind the longest wait was when it was sat at port in the UK for 18 days

Congratulations!

Can you take us through some of the new MY26 features you have on your car?

Thank you!
I didn’t actually option any of the newer features
Prefer 2D vs 3D surround
Not interested in carbon fibre b-pillar
And prefer using a physical key to open

But in the few hours I’ve had the car, I’ve noticed a few minor changes over MY25, there seems to be a new driver monitoring sensor above the steering wheel and some of the icons on the driver console have been rearranged
If I notice anything significant I’ll be sure to let you know

Will do!
Hopeful none of you will have the same problem as me. My GTS is currently at milestone 03. Currently in production. When I ordered my car I was told it was late Dec/Jan 26 for delivery. Few weeks later the delivery changed to Feb-Mar 26 but production was still due for completion Dec 25. Contacted my local Porsche to see what whas going on. Got told the are unable to register or tax any new Macan EVs due to emission regulations. The current information given is delivery from Feb 26 onwards.
When I collected my Turbo today, I asked the manager at my dealership about this, and he said exactly the same thing. Plenty of GTS models have already been built, but there’s an embargo and none can be delivered until the certificate of conformity is issued. Apparently it’s all down to emissions — which feels a bit ironically frustrating, given it doesn’t produce any emissions.

Congratulations on your black beauty.

I was curious if you optioned Drive Assist (was InnoDrive in MY24&MY25)? I was curious if the camera would be used to perhaps allow hands-free steering as long as it sees your eyes on the road.
But probably it’s just to nag you if it’s sees your eyes not on the road.

Thanks!

I didn’t option Drive Assist in the end — with my driving style and habits I’m not likely to use it much. I just went for Active Cruise Control instead.

Did you get digital key? Curious on how it works.

I didn’t choose the digital key option because, at the time of ordering, I wasn’t sure how it would be implemented and preferred the certainty of using a physical key stored in a Faraday box. I’m not suggesting the digital key is insecure, but based on the information available then, I didn’t want to take the risk.

Reason?
Which one gives better kerb side view when parking?
When I asked the forum at the time of ordering, the general consensus was that the 2D view offered a better kerbside perspective. I haven’t used the 3D view myself, but having now used the 2D, I can say the kerbside view is spot-on for saving the 22” Spyders!

On the contrary, I thought it is the digital key that needs storing in a Faraday box.

The digital key is essentially your mobile phone. I may be wrong, but my understanding is that any car with push-to-start really needs a Faraday solution, and if you have comfort access as well, a Faraday box or pouch becomes even more important to prevent anyone from gaining entry.

@MMR you are right.
I meant to say comfort access, not digital key. My bad!
