Picked up my new Macan Turbo: First Impressions

Hi everyone. Just joined the forum. Picked up my new Macan Turbo last Friday. Volcano grey with the truffle brown interior.

Options: RWS, 21” Macan design wheels, black details around the car (rather than turbonite), adaptive cruise, privacy glass, pan roof, surround view cam,

First impressions:

I love the car and how it drives. I haven’t tried sport or sport plus yet… I was worried that I would be disappointed not getting the 22” wheels but I’m pleased with the design. I only wish I had opted for the insulated glass, a bit noisier than expected on UK roads.

Turbonite wouldn’t fit with your colour. But does with line.

The dual-layer glass doesn't help with road noise, since that is transmitted mostly through the body. It does help with heat rejection and reducing noise while sitting in traffic.

Congrats. Captured the truffle brown color pretty well, it’s not common. Usually it looks overblown and intense in photos.

Beatiful! That's definitely my favorite exterior color. And it looks great with the brown interior!

Congrats on the car. Could you post a pic of the car in daylight without a shadow being cast on the side? I'm also ordering in this color and debating side blade options. Exterior color side blades seem most popular but I don't like how that looks, so I'm debating between the default volcano black side blade versus high gloss black.

How do you like the 18-way seats?

Ive always liked them on test drives but some guy in a thread who calls himself very particular about seats, said they were uncomfortable and needed a pillow behind is back because they were hard. (!!!). I think this might be a bit of hyperbole.

My order goes HARD/unchangeable tomorrow and I'm currently 14-way, but thinking about changing.back to 18.

I love them. They fit me perfectly! They are a bit on the firmer side but no issues with them at all. I love the look of them and so many ways you can adjust them.

Great choice! Sure, I can try and get a better photo later. I was concerned with mine in black tbh because I was worried that it was going to get too dark. But I’m very pleased. It makes the car look more aggressive in my opinion. I opted to have the other details high gloss black as well which I think looks good.

Thank you! It does look good on your car! I am getting high gloss black window trim but since I'm not planning on getting the turbo I won't have the high gloss black lower trim that you do, so I feel like the high gloss black side blade might stand out too match whereas the default lava black might be more cohesive with the later trim. But the thought of having plastic on the body of the car isn't very appealing!
