After a Taycan CT without RWS, wheelbase 2.904 m, dim 4.974 x 1.967, not very easy to enter my garage, I have a Macan 4, with RWS, wheelbase 2.893 m, dim 4.784 x 1.938
The Macan is very lively in the curves, but to enter my garage, very frankly I am very disappointed, no notable improvement.
I...
@fsabek Have a look at the online manual ;)
Ok , this manual is not very clear ...
I am ok with you , the timer don't respect the departure time .
This is not optimal for the SoH for a scheduled departure at 100% load
My Taycan complied with this instruction.
Congratulations
After a Taycan, i am also very happy with my Macan 4, like you.
IMHO , HV battery chemistry is NMC811 ( a ratio of eight parts nickel to one part each cobalt and manganese), not LFP
For now, only your dealer can measure the SoH
Any worries ? the data has changed
First generation of Taycan was powered with LG batteries , made in Poland.
J2 Tayan and Macan are both built with CATL batteries , used by some Tesla ?
A CATL factory is now installed in Gernany :

The port exist , but the OBD (at least mine OBD CX link) is ignored by the apps OBD link , E Flow and CarScanner.
Macan ev , and generally the setting for the PPE platform cars is not yet done.
I' ve send a message to Carscanner designer .
The designer of the E Flow app is following this...
This delay existed with my Taycan.
With my Macan 4, no running-in period.
It had 20 km when I took possession of it and the regeneration was already active.
@Diego I think we have the same driving style ;)
It is essential to assign the diamond button to regeneration.
It's sad because I would have used it to trigger the 360 view, or, here in Europe, to deactivate the automatic speed alert.
Replacing the regen button with a "next song" button is...

hello @Diego
After yesterday Taycan CT4-Macan 4 exchange at my dealership,in Grenoble 115km in the mountains north of my home, I partially charged the car last night, from 50 to 80%.
I charged with the PMCC that my salesperson finally gave me back ...
Like you, the charge started immediately...
@daveo4EV @PanameraFrank I had the same thoughts, but the latest Taycan recall confirms my decision to change my 3 years old CT4 in February, even after a significant :crying: depreciation when the vehicle was taken back by the dealer.
Exchange tomorrow afternoon
Thanks for these details @Diego , which don't really reassure me...
I will exchange my Taycan for the Macan this friday morning (@byebye ;) )...
My salesperson must "offer" me a box, I don't know which model.
With the experience of my Taycan, and a PMCC (Wallbox) Porsche ,although it is not exactly the same process as with the Macan (I 've read the manual....):
The application has nothing to do with this problem, if the departure is scheduled for 3.30, the charge will be reached within one or two...
@Wawando Thank you for this great write-up !
Your choice and opinion about interior color reassures me, after a Leather Black Macan and a Slate Gray Taycan CT4, i 've select "Pacote alargado em Pele em Preto e Bege Giz" for my Volcano Macan 4, with the same 21 wheels that your Turbo. I hope...
The charging control has been updated.
I hope that this 80% limit setting will avoid, as with the J1 Taycan, finding the car the next morning with 100%, sometimes and for various reasons, despite the programming being set to 85 maximum.
This really annoyed me for 3 years with the CT4
This was the case on my two previous Macan but since the "regen" button has disappeared (same as with J 2 Taycan) , I will use the "diamond" to activate and deactivate light regeneration.
What a strange idea from Porsche engineers!
I used this button a lot with my Taycan ?
