The big issue for you is how long will it take for Porsche to figure it out?
We have no clue, moreover, it was very painful for them to even do the mandatory recalls.
Why? It was a mixture of undertrained techs, bad designed software processes and need to replace bad electronic parts. But...
One of the purposes of the wrm0 mandatory recall was to change a controller which drained the 12v battery.
Did your car have all the mandatory recalls?
You know, in Europe, we pay a 20%+ VAT on top of the MSRP, and there are still customers for new carsā¦ even expensive ones, let alone in France the 60kā¬ malus on sporty ICE like 911, 718, Macan&Cayenne ICE and so on
Main objective differences are:
- charging curve, 33% faster 10-80% on the Macan
- length, +20cm on the EQE, not the same deal in town/parking, but the EQE is more spacious (?)
- range : +10% with macan
if it doesn't matter to you, it's just a matter of personal taste.
It seems to be related to the hardware, it could be a sensor sending erratic messages...
But the problem is that it seems no one is capable of analyzing the car's logs at the dealership. So it takes several back and forth with Porsche AG to find the real hardware problem by reading the logs...
