Range / consumption of 2025 Macan EV ?

    I don’t understand your figures. 3.2 kWh is 304 miles 100% to 0%, and 256 miles 95% to 10% what is 214? 100% to 0% under other conditions that implies 2.25 miles / kWh?

70 mph drive range test in Macan EV Turbo with 22" wheels -- result: 290 miles range

Ah, too bad. check if you do need such a range in winter, if so, you will have to wait for next gen batteries, or in the meantime look at Lucid cars (they have a big big battery)

70 mph drive range test in Macan EV Turbo with 22" wheels -- result: 290 miles range

Each (wind and rain) could be as costly as 10% less (assuming same speed under rain or not). So, 300 miles in ideal conditions on the highway could become 240 miles with front wind / under rain ; and if it’s very cold, 30% less: 170 miles (worst case scenario). During my 7 years of EV ownership...

70 mph drive range test in Macan EV Turbo with 22" wheels -- result: 290 miles range

General idea with preconditioning is to reach a battery temperature that is the best for efficiency (1) or fast charging (2) (1) the main use case, is in cold morning. If you start with a cold battery, efficiency is bad, moreover, regen is limited. In the end, for the first miles, efficiency...

70 mph drive range test in Macan EV Turbo with 22" wheels -- result: 290 miles range

It’s not the way the car charges. it’s just related to efficiency (miles per kWh, or kWh per mile) and usable kWh in the battery. With 95 kWh, 415 miles range equals 4,36 miles / kWh only small / light / not so powerful / with one motor cars can achieve that (in normal conditions), and the Macan...

70 mph drive range test in Macan EV Turbo with 22" wheels -- result: 290 miles range

I would recommend 100 km… if you start with a cold battery (ie with no preconditioning)

Macan 4S and/or Slate Grey Neo first ETA?

I don’t like neo grey in those pictures, on the Macan. But I like it on a 911, strange…

    Textured side cladding

I chose gloss black (with IG) because it seems to me that it gives the impression that the line of the macan is lower, less massive. I like the way sedans look, but Macan is obviously not a sedan! In body color, it is very nice with top rails and suspension in their highest level Personal...

    Textured side cladding

Why are you thinking it’s “cheap”? However I’ve read that with time, the carbon sideblades become fragile, and uneasy to remove without breaking them (based on Macan ICE)

<musk-on> by 2026, 50% of the cars will be flying Teslas</musk-on> I’m sure it will inspire the Electric Viking.

70 mph drive range test in Macan EV Turbo with 22" wheels -- result: 290 miles range

As @daveo4EV said, I’m OK with 290 miles, more during summer, less during winter. 4 hours in a row is too much for me, I'm not capable of driving safely for that length of time. 2-3 hours is perfect. The thing that matters is the fast charge capability.
