Aftermarket Wheels

After reading the posts regarding aftermarket wheels, I still have a few questions and wanted the group to chime in with their experience.

I am looking to buy some aftermarket wheels for winter driving. FYI - adding aftermarket wheels in the US DOES NOT void any warranties, I have confirmed and someone else posted some detailed info.

Current set up 22" wheels on Macon 4S

Goal:
1. ability to swap out summer vs. winter wheels
2. size down in wheel diameter to 20" to allow for cheaper tires and more rubber vs wheel to deal with potholes
3. keep cost of wheels low, on a wheel that still looks good on a Macon

Here's my questions.
1. What aftermarket wheels have you found for our vehicles?
2. Where did you source them?

I am currently looking at Tire Rack and Discount Tire (same company), but want to explore other options.

Their price is pretty much the same as what I paid in Canada (before our exciting provincial and federal taxes at least) at Porsche Vancouver

I ordered a set from Variant. I have had a few over the years and find them to be good quality without being overly expensive.

I've had those same Michelins on my BMW for over 12 seasons. Only run them December-March, but still have have plenty of tread!

Hi Folks,

I wanted a set of 21" wheels for the winter on my Macan 4 EV. There are a few online shops for wheels in Canada but many are not showing correct wheels (wrong bolt patterns etc). I ordered a set of Braelin BR10's from Quattro Tires but unfortunately they do not fit. Quattro Tires had reached out to Braelin but even they were not sure if they would fit. At my dealer today and just confirmed that they don't fit by a tiny margin. It's unfortunate considering the cost of all 4 wheels is nearly $1000 CAD less than 1 Porsche 21" wheel! If anyone knows of a brand for 21" wheels that is not Porsche, that would be great!
