we have the air suspension. It has three modes; lifted, normal, lowered. we have it on normal. I'm considering setting the programmable steering wheel button to set it to lifted, for handling a couple high angle/incline parking lot exits and intersections near us. (I have the setting turned on to previous lifted mode for gps location).

my question is, if I set it to lifted mode, will it stay there? or at a certain speed will it go back to normal (that would be my preferred action)

Why not just turn Macan's drive mode toggle switch, on the steering wheel, to off-road mode.
Would that not be the same as lift mode, or is that different?
And use the diamond button short-cut button for something else. 🤔

good point. I don't know if it's the same or not?

You can set the diamond button to temporary LIFT which does what you need and also triggers the "save this location" on the PCM so next time you are in the same area the car will go up by itself

oh I picked lift mode/lifted. I'll have to look again, I didn't see temporary lift the other day.

oh wow, I didn't know you could long press to change it. I've been digging through the menus to change it, which is a nightmare.

Can't confirm myself, but I'm pretty sure that it will go "low" automatically still, once you hit a certain speed.

Right, I don’t think you want to default to lifted or the offroad setting as that cuts a couple of performance limits down

PS - have the same problem with my driveway. Front drags unless I’m super careful

Yes in effect you already have a quick off road switch on the steering wheel. I use it in parking lots that have cement end dividers
