Any advice on where to get an aftermarket tow bar in the UK fitted for a Porsche Macan 4

Hi all,

I'm just finalising the spec for a Macan 4 and seeing a few used / dealer demos that are pretty close bar not having the factory fit tow bar. I'll be using it for a rear mounted bike rack.

I've had a quick look around for aftermarket options - pfjones, trailertrek, towbar express - but no luck. Has anyone been able to find this part - or is this solely something from Porsche?

Might be tricky but ask a dealer.

I have one on my Macan ICE but the aftermarket one for it isn't compatible and really expensive.

Not many folk spec the option on the Macan EV as to tow anything can really impact range.

Roof bars (if you have rails) may be the compromise .

Check with Porsche dealer. To my understanding all Macan in UK are prepared for aftersales OEM solution. I think it's about 2K from Porsche.

All Macan EVs have this prep.

Difference is that in NA you can't get the factory option for the electric tow hitch.
