Dont want to risk it from the dealer. Does anyone know a good shop that knows what they are doing ? NJ preferred.

It's not NJ, but I can vouch for Detailing Dynamics in Long Island. I live in NYC, and that's where I have taken my cars for PPF and ceramic coating. They're not cheap, but the the quality is worth it.

Ahh thank you. For PPF do parts of the macan need to be removed. I am hoping they don’t mess with the car itself. And just wrap as is. I have seen videos where nothing gets removed and others where they take lots apart. The car was just put together and now it gets removed again is too much for me to handle :(

From what I've seen, you do want some parts removed because it means 1/ the installer won’t risk damaging the paint when cutting the PPF, and 2/ they can properly tuck in the film.

Just a question, those who laser cut the PPF, does it still damage the paint? 🤔

I was told to always ask for custom cut. So you won’t see the cuts and the dirt it collects at the border.
