Are these pigtails for trickle charging 12v battery?

Don't understand why there isn't a small key in the fob that lets you manually open it instead... the whole 12V recovery system is so cumbersome. This is for the emergency Hood release to open the frunk with a dead 12v
The manual implies it isn’t charging the 12v when used

In older Porsches, you'd use the physical key to open the driver's door, then climb into the footwell to open the fuse panel and pull out the positive terminal for the emergency frunk release. Then you'd have to find nearby chassis ground point that your cables could reach (which was difficult with my tiny mobile jump starter pack).Don't understand why there isn't a small key in the fob that lets you manually open it instead... the whole 12V recovery system is so cumbersome.
