As we're almost in September - any news in USA about Supercharger access?

I know it's 'right around the corner' -- but -- do we know anything further? Am considering a 2900 miles trip in early October, and while Electrify America chargers would be my #1 option - having Supercharger access (I already have the adapter from Lectron) would provide great piece of mind.

Anyone hear anything?
