They were supposed to swap out the 12V batterie. Now it says car is in Privacy Mode.
Did the service tech put the car into that state. Or is it because the car loses all the power? (They seem to not bridge Power when they swap batteries.) To me logical to do but maybe the wrong thing not sure.
The service tech told me over the phone just now that this is normal and in 1-2 days it will be back to normal. I have hard time believing it. As there is so much misinformation going around. Has anyone encountered that it really comes back on by itself? Some others in the forum did not have that experience.
My car batterie went dead. And it is basically the same thing as taking the batterie out. But when it received a boost, the unit came back on after 1h of charging. No privacy mode.
Maybe my logic cannot be applied here. Not sure what to think of it.
