Things I'm uncertain about:
  • Will the default wheels look too small?
  • Is adding soft entry worth it?
  • Does the espresso leather look nice in real life? I'm also considering the night green one.
  • I'm not sure about the 14/18 way seats. I forgot which ones I had during my testdrive but I felt like it was a bit narrow at my shoulders? I'm 1m97 and have broad shoulders.

Any things you guys notice that will be a waste of money? Or things that I should really add?

Lastly I'm still debating between the BMW i5 M60 and this one. And from a value perspective actually also the XPENG G9 (Don't shoot me)... Last consideration is a second hand Taycan.
If you guys have thoughts here, but I'm sure we're all biased towards the Macan 😅

For reference. I'm coming from a BMW 330e (2018, stage 1 tuned to 360). I honestly still love the car. And it was less than half the price; Prices have gone up crazy in general, but still hard to justify a "relatively" small jump in quality / driving experience. I'd even say my 330e let me drive more playfully. But that's compared to the Macan 4 (there was no 4S for testdrive); I'd still prefer a sedan type car, but a new taycan.. the price is whack.

I do prefer ICE cars. It's from a fiscal taxation perspective that I'm pushed into full EV basicly... Else I'd probably get an ICE panamera

One more question - I'm sure it as asked before! What is the max discount I can get?
The dealer said 4%. I'm thinking of saying 8% "take it or leave it", else I get the i5 M60 (I'm a return customer so they gave me a large discount)

EDIT: By changing the langauge to en-GB for you guys (and testing with de-DE) I just noticed that in Belgium the same config is €7k more expensive than in Germany and the UK...

Consider electronic logo on the seats, 22 RS wheels are beautiful, also off road painted package that also helps to get vehicle higher than without that option.

I deleted innodrive.
I do not have the crest on my macan s (front seats) and it drives me crazy 🤣. I added it this time!

Opted for 22's...but I think 21's would have been fine. 20's look fine on certain colors... IMHO.
I assume I will get 10-12k miles on the tires...but my Macan S has the turbo 21's...so...I am accustomed to replacing them and the price tag!

I got 8% off... free rubber mats (trunk/frunk too)...and asked for more but my dealer said no and I think we will lease ($7500 credit)...then opt to buy out @ the 3rd mos.... provided I like it /car is not troublesome (SW stuff)

Wheels are fine and anything bigger will impact range.

Roof rails should be added

Body coloured door mirrors

14-way comfort seats are great

Gloss black window surrounds

Rear wiper is a must - had a 4S all weekend and this was one of the shortcomings

Bose is normally a must have but the implementation in the Macan EV is at best poor - truly disappointing.

Olea leather is pricey. I'd go full regular and add Porsche Torque Vectoring

360 cameras you have added - base rear camera is not enough.

I would go with 21 inch, great compromise between looks and range, 20 looks a bit small. Note that 20 inch comes with smaller tire width which is great for range but not great for dynamic/grip.

For Europe I would get rear wheel steering.
Air suspension as well as full leather is a must in my opinion. Torque vectoring can be skipped.

14 way are definitely fine, I found them more comfortable than 18 but less sporty. Also a bit easier to get in and out.

I agree with the steering wheel heating but @Eckhard is wrong on the seat heating. Front seat heating is included, it is just rear that is optional (depends on your use case, I think it is not needed).

I think black window trim is a bit nicer. I did not paint the mirrors as it is ridiculously expensive and better spent elsewhere.

Keyless entry and matrix LED would also be a must for me.

Actually in Germany they were willing to go up to 9.4% discount.

I eventually didn't get the car because the seats (both 14 and 18 way) don't work for me...
I'm very tall and have broad shoudlers, both seats push in too narrow in my upper back causing muscle tension and pain.

Honestly heart breaking. The Macan 4S was the perfect car for me...
