Does the Electric Macan fit the roof bar of the old Macan?

Hi, I took the plunge and took delivery of a new 4S to replace my trusty 10-year old Diesel Macan. I still have the roof bars of the old car and am wondering if they would fit the new car. I would want to take bikes on the roof from time to time.
Anyone has experience with this?

Good question. I don't have roof bars, but surly those who know will answer.

Anyway, how is your experience from Diesel to Electric Macan?

It's early days yet. But so far so good. The pcm is a lot more complex than the old one so a lot more to learn and configure.

It's super smooth as expected. Very fast and so far well behaved. It's a fair bit longer and lower (mid the kerb). Charging can be expensive unless you charge at home. I have an EV tariff which costs me 7 pounds to charge a full "tank". One thing that's different is that as it doesn't generate much heat, it doesn't warm up like a ICE car so pre heating maybe necessary. But it's been getting warmer so not much chance to experiment with this.

Yes, I try to remember preheating the car through the app before I drive off. But when I forget, putting seat heating on works well before it starts to get warm overall.

I’ve just bought a new 4S EV which comes with roof rails. Today I parked near an old version and they look different.
Best way to be sure is to look at Thule Roof bars - good website is Canoes and Kayaks in Plymouth and check the three component parts for Thule - if different then no if the same yes.

My guess is no. I have Thule bars and had to order new feet specifically made for the Macan EV.
