i really think ppl should stop checking the battery everyday....do it once per week instead...or two weeks...if you must.
It should be understood that you basically "starting" the car every time you open that app, as it has to poll alllllll the systems that the app reports on.

others have said, "that shouldn't be enough to cause 1% drain" ...but the question still remains as to why you need to monitor the battery level Daily
there is no link between this 1% Problem and the use of the app.

my car is parked underground without any 4g/5g… so, you get it

when parked outside, same over consumption no matter the use of the app.

It’s a real issue, which is not usage dependent.

My car is getting latest SW as I am writing this so maybe that will finally fix this problem as others mentioned. But at this stage I am really sceptical.
My car had exactly this behaviour and some other odd SoC movements for 12 months from delivery.

I certainly understand your skepticism and I was too but the software updates I had in early May have completely fixed it (for me at least). Now, no matter how long I leave it - and recently I've done 6 days left alone - it shows at most 1% loss when I get back in and it doesn't drop like a brick as I watch it and it doesn't drop like a brick within a mile of driving.

So there is hope.

so over those 9 days you never touched the car or the app?
I don;t think it is polling the car when you check in the app. I've been checking my car relatively regularly and the apps battery page clearly shows how long it has been since it had an update from the car. Just recently, that was showing 6 days. As far as I can tell, the car only wakes up if you send a change to the car - like changing the battery Charge target from say 80% to 75%. This will wake the car and then the car will update Porsche central with the latest battery SoC and then this can be seen in the app.
it shows when the last time it's access car which is simply cached data...likely the last time you've opened the app. You can refresh this whenever you want...whenever i first open the app, it'll say the vehicle data is from "yesterday" or whatever...but all you have to do is pull down on the app, and it will load all the data from the car right then.

Not that date. Click on the battery icon and at the bottom of the Battery charge target is a Data Updated line. This shows when the app last received data from the car and does not change unless you go to the car or send a change to the car via the app. Mine is currently showing 8 hours but last week when I was on holiday, it got up to 6 days.

Have they done anything else to your car like full discharge/charge cycle after update? I am asking, because mine was updated on Tuesday and based on info from service center it is still losing SoC. Of course now even this service center is starting to pretend that this is normal...

Same behavior from Porsche here: if you can't fix the problem, pretend that it's a feature...

Ask them to explain why the hell the battery temp is always higher than the external temp?
Here, this morning, after one night sitting idle between 20C and 15C, no charge, 36 hours without driving it, the battery sits at 25C, thanks to the 1% loss which keeps the battery up and ready!

Frankly Porsche, is it too hard to understand there is a problem?

No discharge or charge at all by the dealer, they just installed the software update.

For the first 6 weeks or so after the update I hadn't done a full charge (probably to a max of around 70 or so) or discharge either (probably not below about 15%).

The 1% a day problem is still completely fixed on my 4 two months after the software update.

If you've not had the recent software updates then I suggest getting them installed as they seem to have fixed the problem - at least for me.
