Drop frame function doesnt seem to do much

I have the 2025 Base Macan EV. While it does have the buttons in the trunk to lower the rear ( referred in the manual as drop frame function) , it doesnt seem to do much. It lowers it maybe an inch. Is this normal?

With air suspension it is significant. Not sure if the base model has it.

I think the air suspension is standard is Canada and the USA. But OP should confirm. I never used the feature, but I don't think its more than an inch or 2 maybe based on what I have seen on other SUV's.

Looks like a 1.57inch (40mm) drop is all that's expected.

I just measured mine with a laser. Looks like it depends on the mode you’re in.

Normal -> kneel for load is 2 5/8” drop 66.67mm

Low (sport plus) -> kneel for load is 1 1/2”drop or 38mm

Only available with air suspension which is an option on all model variants, standard on some or by region.
