To get 36 month free charging - did your Porsche dealer give you a promo code to activate free charging?
I was told by electrify America that the dealer has to give the new owner a code to enter in app.
I have on the Porsche app a subscription ID to enable free charging service but I still got charged on my credit card for using electrify charging.

In the US, I didn’t get any code. Only requested a certificate in the app, and the next time Plug & Charge just worked.

36 months is in Canada only. In the US we get 12 months.

No code necessary, but you have to activate the subscription and download/install a certificate using My Porsche.

Unlike Hyundai for instance that has you use the EA/EC app, in order to get the free charging for Porsche, you must not use the EA/EC app.

Just plug the car and if a) the certificate is installed correctly on the car and b) Plug & Charge is enabled, the car will talk to the charger and initiate the session on its own.

Not a problem for me, I'm avoiding the US for now.
