I’ve used 2 different electrify America chargers in Colorado. Each charger states can charge at max 350 kW. First time I was able to get 150kW, second charger, just 85kW.
What is everyone else’s experience ?

This is not uncommon. All you can do is precondition your Macan EV by making the charger the destination and watch battery temperature go up with a huge benefit of seeing what max charge rate possible in the battery view screen.

I do not have Macan EV or the new Taycan with this revised screen. Very jealous.

This is from 2025 Taycan launch presentation.

This one is pretty amazingly awesome to me.

It seems Out of Spec has a video for every scenario. This one is 2 different VW ID.4 in the very cold. At the same starting state of charge, no precondition available, driving one hard to warm the battery, the other with gentle driving for 30 minutes. How does this change the charging curve.

Spoiler: it's a LOT!

I can only speak about EA stations in Oregon and Idaho. At each 350 kW I was getting a charging rate of very close to 200 at their fastest (once at 200 even) — which considering my iX‘s max absorption rate is 197, those chargers were doing a really good job. These are newer chargers so at least in my corner of the road tripping world, EA has improved some in the last year. At one station I had to disconnect from one failed charger and plug into the next one over, but on the others, they all worked perfectly the first time I plugged in.

this is good news - do you have a picture of the charging equipment - is it the single cord units?
