On windy days I feel like I'm getting blown around on the highway more than expected.

The gap between the frunk and run lights seems excessive. Pictured but hard to see.

Anyone else feel like this is inattention to aerodynamics in a car that is designed to minimize drag?

Typically, similar size cars, the one with better aerodynamics is more affected by cross winds.

yeah, it's not the front the profile, it's the side profile. The profile of a small SUV . the gap around the headlights is fine

That would be crosswind against the side of the car, having nothing to do with wind from ahead or the light housings.

No, the opposite. Airflow over the body is carefully managed. The sharp line on the bumper is not decorative. Neither is the recess for the light housing or the channel along the top. Porsche didn't move away from their iconic round light designs on the EVs for aesthetics or just to mix things up. Taycan/Macan/Cayman running lights were shaped as part of the aero engineering.

Drive at highway speed for awhile in the rain and you'll see that the water drops flow right onto the fenders and hood as intended. The dirt on the car is probably causing more drag (seriously).
