Lots of 2025 Macan EVs on lots?

This report says that for MY 20205, Macan EVs have the second most inventory on dealer lots. Not a good sign for Porsche, if true

Sounds a bit fishy. So I took the dealership I bought from, which isn't huge, but 2 of 24 used cars on their lot are Macan EVs. 8.3%

i am in florida and came with the idea to replace my mb 350 with a macan. (would be my third). absolutely impossible. sunset porsche in sarasota has one(!) macan electric right now. a base model 26 for 97.790,- (!!)
the cheapest macan in florida right now is a 2025 base with 9000mi. it is 69.000,-
in a 200 mi radius to sarasota (this includes fr. myers, tampa, orlando, st. pete, palm beach and naples are 40 macan 24/25 available: the cheapest is again the base model for 69.000,-. i rest my case

IDK, this article reads like poor statistics to me. There is no explaination of how the percentages are calculated.

Take the BMW i4 statistic. The 2025 MY makes up 89.2% of dealer inventory. Is that all dealer inventory or just EV type inventory or just i4 Inventory? I'll assume it's just i4 inventory. Production for the 2026 MY i4 only began in last month, Nov. 2025. I really know nothing about car production and distribution, but I assume it takes time to get cars to dealer lots and BMW isn't going to start production at 100% capacity on day 1. So, I'm not at all suprised that 2026 MY i4 cars are still scarce and thus a low percent of available inventory.

Then I tried to find a 2026 Macan EV on a dealer lot, right now. finder.porsche.com says there are 0 immediately available 2026 Macan EV. Of the 6 I viewed details on all of them only had build sheets and no window stickers. So, I wonder how the article author came up with a percentage as low as 67.8% for the 2025 Macan EV inventory since porsche data says the 2026 MY inventory on dealer lots is 0%.
