+1 for the Chrono ‘club’. This is my first Porsche and I much preferred the ‘look’ of the dash with the Chrono (personal preference of course).

As @W1NGE has posted above, the Chrono ‘package’ does give you the ‘Sports Plus’ mode (definitely not the ‘Push-To-Pass’ button - the SA needs to be sent back for Product training - probably thinking of the Taycan). @PrudentOcean has an interesting separate thread of the effects of Sports+ vs Sports mode acceleration using a professional Racelogic VBOX to measure (in a Macan Turbo) which may speak to the “performance-orientated chassis tuning” or PAA referenced in the post above.
My Macan T has push to pass on its SC so my guess is the chap confused EV with ICE.

I didn’t think Sport Chrono was necessary on the 4S but didn’t like the look of the blank dash, so I added the Compass option which includes a digital altimeter and clock. For a ridiculous up-charge, you can change the face of the compass (or chrono) to match your seat or seatbelt color.
That is a very good choice if you want to have something on the dash. Colored compass looks very nice.

I found this, it mentions something similar,
" The Sport Chrono Package on the Macan 4S EV includes driving modes, Launch Control, and the "Sport Response" function, which provides a temporary power boost. The Sport Response feature, accessed via a button on the steering wheel, provides a 10-second power increase of up to 140 kW for 10 seconds "

  • Sport Response: A 10-second power boost that can be activated by pressing the button in the center of the Sport Chrono rotary switch on the steering wheel. On some models, this can unlock up to an additional 140 kW.
It does state some models, it is on the GTS

unless this is something they're adding for the '26 models...this is not true for the current range.
The steering wheel has no "button" for this. It's just a dial to switch modes...

Although this thread is pretty old (aside from the several recent posts), I'd like to add something that hasn't been mentioned. On my Macan 4 without Sports Chrono, Sport+ suspension (at least) is available. When I move the steering wheel rotator knob to Sport (as I frequently do), the main screen (not the dash screen) shows options at the bottom of the screen for Normal, Sport, Sport+, and Spoiler up. Those options disappear fairly quickly. I know that when I select Sport+ on the screen it's giving me Sport+ suspension tuning (says so on the dash). I don't know if it gives the power boost of "real" Sport+ with the Chrono package. It does give me launch control but I'm pretty sure that Sport alone does that as well.

Launch Control is available in Sport drive mode and onwards.
