My Porsche ID & App

I recently received my Porsche ID registration by email allowing me to access all the information about my order on the My Porsche app. I must say I was very impressed that it showed an image of the car in the exact colour and alloy wheels I'd chosen plus a list of all the optional extra's I'd specified. There is even a map that shows it's route from the factory in Leipzig, before departing the port at Emden in Germany and arriving at the port in Grimsby UK . . and then the road journey to the dealer. it also tells me that the production start date is December 8th. Clever stuff!!

Careful, it doesn't work in the US and you will put another dollar in the "the app is stupid, track my dream is stupid, it's a dealbreaker" machine.

But, yes, in itself, it's pretty cool.

It doesn't work in every European country, either. Certainly not in the Netherlands, which isn't exactly a small market.

I also got my Porsche ID and VIN today to add my new Macan 4S to the MyPorsche app which has all worked.

However I don’t see anywhere in the app (or have an email invite) to see the ‘track my dreams’ progress of production to delivery.
How did you get to this part of the app to show progress ??

I received an email from Porsche Connect Support Great Britain. This was the content of the email as shown below. From this I created my Porsche ID, downloaded the app and everything about my order was shown in the app.

I have now received the same email invite link but cannot see on the app anywhere that gives me any information about it's progress or expected dates? Not sure if I'm being blind?!

Only works with the ID created for you by Porsche. When you click the link you will be asked to create a password after
which you should be logged into your account. You can find the Porsche ID in your profile. Use this to log into the app with the password created and you should be able to see the timeline.

Thanks for the reply. This is exactly what I did. I used the new Porsche ID that was created through the email link and then logged into the app with this new one.
I just cannot see anywhere within the app that would even show a timeline of it was available? Is it on the vehicle screen or the map screen?

That screen should show you the steps and timeline on clicking on it. Don’t know why yours is different. Maybe shoot an email to Porsche connect? Sorry can’t help further.
