Planned Departure Temperature Settings

I seem to be missing something obvious with planned departure temperature settings. I have reoccurring weekly departure scheduled. I’d like it to be 80°F when leaving in the am BUT it seems to be picking up the temperature I last had in the car when driving (which today was 62°).

There has to be a way to schedule it to get to a specific temp and not just revert to previous car temp.

What am I missing?

It is working to design to my mind (same as Taycan). The AC is set to the last used temperature in the car when setting preheat / cool from the app. Always check the temp you want on the app if you require something different before activating.

You can't heat the battery outside of driving it!

Correct, I was just trying to make sure he was talking about the cabin.
