I’m just completing a roadtrip in Europe. I have used a number of the Tesla Superchargers that have been opened up to all EVs and, in general, my experience of them has been excellent (available, very easy to set up, rapid charging, good prices). However, on a couple (Laxou, Boulogne) I have experienced a problem: when I plug in there is a repeated whirring for about 15secs after which I get a message saying that charging has failed. At both sites I tried three chargers and got the same problem at all the chargers I tried. It is as though the car is trying to ‘lock in’ the charger but can’t do so. Just wanted to warn people of a potential problem, to ask if anyone knows what the problem is, and to ask if anyone knows whether there is a workaround? Thanks.
