I'm starting to notice a rumble on part throttle, most noticeable when climbing up a slight incline at 40-50 mph. With more than half throttle or coasting is a smooth ride. Something like lugging an ICE or driving an ICE equipped with multiple displacement.. Anyone else? Search didn't point out anything to me. I feel the vibration in the body, door armrests mostly.

The 4S has 6500 miles on the clock and about 10 months on the road. If it makes any difference, it has not seen a service department since delivery. I've had no problems, so there are several campaigns backed up.... I just hate fixing something not broken.

It has been cold here, that ride is no fun at 0 degree F.

I wonder if the vibration occurs when the front axle is being passively driven.

The Macan has a permanent magnet motor without a clutch, so it never completely disconnects. In order to not create a braking force, the motor receives just enough current to keep up with the motion of the vehicle. When accelerating, it receives additional current.

I would have the alignment and tire wear checked, and also verify that all the lug nuts are tight.

Perhaps an artifact of digitally vs linear power adjustments in transitions that are felt because the isolators are cold and not as flexible. Warmer weather coming up this weekend so I may have an excuse to take a drive instead of chores :)
