Macan 4S finally came in. Haven’t had much time with it but very happy. The acceleration was a pleasant surprise. Charge ports are flush, doors and panels aligned, and no warning lights so far. Set up was easy. Haven’t tried charging yet so unsure if plug n charge works. Porsche leasing rates are giving me heartburn but I knew what I was getting into.

I took delivery of my 2025 Macan Turbo this Monday and here were my initial thoughts.

Mine was spec'd with a full leather interior in black w Turbonite accents which is truly stunning. The deviated stitching and leather on virtually every panel make it quite a special place to be. I optioned the center console in leather which I highly recommend, it includes stitching in turbonite as well.

I opted for the Burmester, which has speaker grilles in Turbonite. I know a lot of people can't justfiy the price for this system, but I think it's worth every penny in it's clarity, imaging, and spacial qualities.

Setup at the dealer was pretty seamless, other than plug and charge which was grayed out. My SA said there would be a OTA software update coming soon that would be addressing that. Much to my surprise, the next day when I was playing around in the My Porsche app, plug and charged appeared so I was able to install the certificate along with that very easily.

Charging through the app was very easy, I went to an EA (before plug and play was active) and just initiated charging through the app which was very intuitive.

Build quality has been outstanding, they've definitely made improvements from the initial builds (including no seat belt or trunk rattling, no issues with panel gaps near the power charge port).

I'm amazed at how quiet and smooth the car has been, and instantaneously quick! Normal mode is perfect for every day commuting, Sport mode is fantastic with electric sport sound being very emotive, and the steering and suspension very sporty. I found sport plus to be extremely firm over bumps so that might be best for the track or super smooth roads which in Chicago don't exist I have Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 on 21" Turbo wheels, couldn't be happier w them!

Overall i'm extremely satisfied, I hope to have some more impressions and photos as I drive more!

My 4S, interior is leather chalk grey. I have probably been a bit too conservative on the wheel size due to range anxiety but may fix it in the future. I’ve collected it yesterday and will drive back home to Madrid from northern Spain tomorrow. I think the color looks a lot better in reality than on the pics.

Saw my first Slate Grey Neo today ?

This has ruined it for me!

I saw the above ^ ^ ^ color of Volkswagen ID.4 in the Trader Joes parking lot and just happened to have my Slate Grey Neo paint chip from the dealership in my possession. I took a few pics.

Slate Grey Neo is ever so slightly browner and warmer, and has less blue in it. Which is an interesting notion because when you see the ID.4 on the road you don't sense much blue in it, but next to SGN you can see it. SGN is also a tick darker. But they are indeed close.

If parked side by side, a SNG Macan would look like a darker car in comparison.

I'm not a Porsche homer and I like the ID.4 color, but the SGN is superior.

This is the wheel I *wanted* to order badly. But the ride was horrific on these 22" even with air suspension. It just felt wrong - and deducts about 25 miles from range.. Wish they made these in 21". Smaller rim and in turn, more sidewall

i am happy with it. definitely they (bridgestone?) can not add hight to this tire. if you want this you have to go for 19" offroad.

The RS Spyder wheel in Vesuvius is the most visually appealing for sure.

Kind of partial to Neodyme. Saw Neodyme wheels at a car show and sucked my attention to them on a 911 . Here’s that Macan combo from the configurator.
