Agreed. Certainly have nothing like this on mine. Do you drive on a lot of gravel? Do you happen to be in the desert? When I lived in AZ, it was all I could do to prevent stone chips all over the place.

Doesn’t look like stone chips to me. Looks like some kind of road contaminate that hasn’t been cleaned properly. Yes, they are replaceable.
