Surround View with Active Parking Support not available on 4S?

Interesting! So maybe Calendar Week?
That would be early December and my build is Nov 26…

Man, I don’t want to push my build again.

I'd assume it's the SW part (UI perhaps) of the remote part assist that isn't ready. If there is any specific hardware needed, then that should come from Taycan, right? Maybe something prevents Porsche to sell a feature now and deliver it later via OTA update. Tesla has done it several times but only for free features that everyone gets.

Option has been problematic on Taycan and apparently not reliable. Suspect more software tweaking and testing before release.

And that chart says "at the earliest" so it really could be into 2025 anyways when it finally becomes a orderable option.

No worries! I’ll ask my SA, see what he says.

My SA doesn’t have infos yet on how the feature will work nor its pricing, and no communication yet as to when it’ll be available exactly either.

I’m more curious than anything, not going to gamble my 2nd allocation on this.

As ParkAssist (front and rear) including reversing camera, but also featuring a 360-degree surround view generated from the images of four high-resolution cameras enabling even greater comfort when manoeuvring. A junction view (from front and rear of vehicle) provides assistance at more complex exits. Images are displayed on the screen of Porsche Communication Management (PCM)

- Active Parking Support
The system automatically detects parking space. Once the system has signaled that the parking space is a sufficient size, the driver can initiate and control the parking process. The system automatically takes over the steering and the forward and backward movement of the vehicle. The Active Parking Assistance is able to park the vehicle in parallel and perpendicular parking spaces.

- Trailer assist (only in conjunction with tow bar).
This function helps the driver when reversing with a trailer by means of targeted steering interventions.

Notes:
All systems function within their system limits and require permanent monitoring of the driver

Interesting, I was planning to spec the 360 camera, even though rear cam and sensors may have been enough.
what problems have their been with the 360 camera? I guess more tech more things to go wrong!
