If so, how well does it work?
I've used it on my wife's Macan T (not EV but same system I assume). Works perfectly well and leaves appropriate space between wheel rim and kerb.

Trick is to ensure the space is big enough and by the time you've done that you could well have parked the car yourself!

I have used it on my Macan ev 4 times, 2 of which it parked great the other 2 times was an accident waiting to happen. I am also interested in the experiences that other owners have had.

Iā€™ve had it work several times. The pattern Iā€™ve noticed is that it doesnā€™t like dark parking lots. For example, our CostCo has a very dark garage and I can never get it to acknowledge any space, ever. However, our Electrify America station has 20 back-in spaces. Itā€™s very well lit. The parking assistant finds spaces every time and backs in fast and accurately.

Parallel parking has been more problematic. It seems to like driveways as opposed to real spots. When it finds a spot, it parks better than I can. Fast and accurate. I just donā€™t know how to get it to detect very obvious spots. If anyone has hints, Iā€™m all ears.

The most unusual effort was in a parking garage with very tight spaces. It didnā€™t recognize anything so I started to back in on my own. Then, 1/3 of the way through the maneuver, the car asked if it could takeover as it must have thought my parking skills were questionable. I let it and it did a great job. Iā€™ve never been able to replicate this. Sigh.

Still love my car, I just want to understand what it likes. šŸ˜€

I tried it two days ago on a quiet residential street just to see how well it works and to become familiar with the process. I didnā€™t want to use it for the first time when I really needed it and there was traffic.

It was dark (7 PM) and while there was a street light about 30 feet away, the available space was pretty dark.

I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked for parallel parking The car was parked perfectly, better than I could have done. Iā€™m not fully aware of the carā€™s dimensions yet and thought the car was going to hit the car in front of me, but the 360 view showed otherwise.

I will definitely use this going forward.

Yes, it parallel parks very well, and faster than my previous BMW i4, but it's a bit temperamental as sometimes it doesn't recognise empty spaces.

I have yet to successfully get the system to park my Macan EV but I have to admit that I give up pretty quickly when trying it. The funny thing (to me) is that my sales person failed to get 4 Macan EVs to park in the Porsche parking lot. It seems like I'll have to invest some time in this because I really want the feature to work for me over time.

I've played around with this feature in other cars and always found it to be glitchy and gimmicky. Given the terrible quality of the exterior camera system in the Macan, I would be nervous to rely on it....

Hoping that somehow we will get a remote parking similar to the Taycan. Just being able to move the car forward or backwards will the app is very useful. fingers crossed.. šŸ˜†

Unfortunately it should not be possible to install it after purchase as on the taycan.

I think Mavshyn is hoping to be able to control the car through the app if the car already has the Active Parking hardware.
It's the same on the taycan. Porsche does not offer an update if you do not choose it from the order. It would be great if we could just get this feature through an update.

the active parking function is there in the Macan, just a shame that that remote function is not available like the Taycan.
