Good luck with obtaining useful information - this topic is even more subjective than the popular "which is better, the comfort seats or the sport seats". The ONLY way to know if the wheel / suspension combination works for you is to find that combination (new or used; won't matter) and test drive it yourself. Again - good luck.

Side note - just noticed you own a C8 Z06. How do you find the ride on that? If you find it "acceptable" I'd think you should be fine with any Macan EV wheel / suspension combination. It's the guy who has owned Buicks or the like that typically has an issue with "rough ride".

All reviews claim it's much more firm, some say it's a bit too much.

Thank you both. We have a Macan EV Turbo now with 22’’’s and while it is fine on good pavement but on bumpy roads it is not “pleasant.” Yet as noted, it is still a softer ride than our race car with a license plate (our C8 Z06).

My choice would be a great looking 21” wheel on a Macan GTS but as many of us have noted, that combination is not the Macan’s strongest point if one is not an all black wheel fan. .

Might compromise on this 21”’r.

Our latest GTS configuration relecting the two major changes we want from our CPO Macan EV Turbo.

I have 22s on my Macan 4 - just took it into the shop (Blind spot indicators) they loaned me a base Macan with 20s - Honestly, so far I can't tell much difference.

Yes, the standard N/C, Anthracite Gray wheels on an GTS even though they look so different, e.g., just the paint and polishing treatment. And of course cost the typical $1,350 Porsche more for their doing that. Guessing that most will prefer the Anthracite Gray solid one color ones..

Our 22” ones are fine on our CPO Macan Turbo unless we hit bad pavement. Then they get quite bumpy/harsh — and why the Macan GTS replacement (once our current lease is over) would have 21” ones.

I'd say really depends on the state of the roads where you live and drive most. I have the GTS with 22's I live in the netherlands where the roads are excellent, germany and france also no issue. I went back to the UK and wow really would not option the 22's living there the roads are atrotious noise was almost defening on the M25 concrete sections

We tested a Turbo on 22s with air and thought the ride was awful- bought a 4S a year ago but just sold it - no more SUVs
