Water started dripping from the sunroof control area of our new Macan 4 EV, when faced with first proper rain. I was shocked by the leak, but subsequent search shows it's a common problem with Porsche retractable roof cars, but haven't seen a thread about this in the Macan EV forum.

Porsche dealership is surprisingly non chalant about it and game me an appointment after 3 weeks and leaving me to contend with protecting the car from rain exposure .

Has anybody else faced with this problem? Emails to Porsche hasn't really helped and dealership throws up it's hands saying no free appointments

no, no issues with water for me... But they may have not been able to give you an appt immediately because it requires a specialist to run the test.
I had water coming in around the doors for my TT Roadster way back in the day...and it took them a week with the car to diagnise and fix...because they had to perform some specific test. That may not be available at all dealership all the time...

My TT Roadster too! They replaced the trim for me.

I own a Macan 4 with the sunroof since Feb 25. Since then, I have faced a few periods of heavy rain and went to car wash with high jet water more than 5 times.
I have not seen a single drop of water into the cabin.

No leaks at the moment and I’ve run into heavy rain in the last months (I love the sunroof and use it every time I can). Just some noise coming from it when it’s close but my SA told me they will look into it when I took them for annual check.
